The Breastfeeding and Feminism International Conference (formerly the Breastfeeding and Feminism Symposium) is seeking papers for the 2015 conference: Breastfeeding, Social Justice and Equity: Reflecting, Reclaiming, Re-visioning. The conference, now in its tenth year, has chosen a theme of social justice and equity.

This year’s conference, co-sponsored by the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness at UNC Greensboro and the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute at UNC Chapel Hill, is calling for presentations, discussions, and posters that focus on but are not limited to breastfeeding and how infant feeding choices intersect with a variety of topics, including the following: feminism, gender and sexuality; biosocial, evolutionary perspectives; government, legislation, policy and practice; use of human milk; health systems, care, and perspectives; commercial and social marketing; and social justice and equity. For a complete list of topics, please visit the newly re-launched website, which includes a call for papers here.
